Old Sligachan Bridge is now disused and has been replaced by a new bridge on the main road. You can find the old bridge just next to the new bridge. The bridge was built between 1810 and 1818 and was the work of Thomas Telford. With three spans, this rubble bridge has a pronounced hump. The campsite is in such a beautiful location with the views of the Cuillins and the loch. The hotel/bar/restaurant is right across the road and just next to that is the Sligachan bridge and the statue. The site itself was very basic.
